Product Description
Detailed Specifications & Features
Near-Infrared Checkerboard Calibration Board

The near-infrared checkerboard calibration board is designed specifically for near-infrared (NIR) cameras and sensors. Using a specialized coating formula, it solves the problem of contrast loss and uneven reflection that ordinary visible-light calibration targets exhibit in the near-infrared band, ensuring that checkerboard corner points retain sharp edges under near-infrared light sources. It is suitable for visual calibration in a wide range of active infrared, night vision, and filter-based applications.

Product Features

Manufactured with high-precision micro-spraying equipment imported from the United States and independently developed high-performance coatings, this board achieves a reflectivity error of ±0.5% across the 850–940 nm range — far exceeding industry standards. It supports multi-reflectivity fusion while delivering high uniformity and long-term durability.

Wavelength Range 850–940 nm
Reflectivity Error ±0.5%
Coating Technology Independently developed high-performance coating, applied with U.S.-imported high-precision micro-spraying equipment
Key Properties High uniformity, high durability, multi-reflectivity fusion support
Working Principle

The board uses self-developed surface coating technology to form a stable, high-contrast checkerboard pattern under near-infrared light source irradiation. The calibration algorithm extracts sub-pixel corner points at the intersections of the black and white grids, establishes a mapping relationship between the image coordinate system and the world coordinate system, and calculates the camera's internal parameters and distortion coefficients in the near-infrared spectrum — eliminating the aberrations and dark-angle effects unique to near-infrared lenses.

Core Scope of Application
  • Calibration of near-infrared industrial cameras
  • Calibration of intelligent driving night vision systems
  • Agricultural and food sorting vision systems
  • Semiconductor packaging inspection
  • Fusion calibration of LiDAR and cameras
