ISO 12233 Image Resolution Test Card 2000 Line with Max Width 3500mm Photolithographic White Film for Precision Camera Calibration
Image Resolution Test Card
,Resolution Test Card 2000 Lines
The ISO 12233 resolution test card is built upon the international standard ISO 12233:2000 — Photography — Electronic still image cameras — Resolution measurement. This standard unifies resolution measurement methods and judgment specifications for static electronic imaging equipment, resolving the industry-wide challenge of inconsistent interoperability and comparability of resolution detection data across different devices and scenarios.
- Fully compliant with international standards, with data reports available.
- Customizable to meet specific application requirements.
- Produced using the latest generation of high-precision microjet printers.
- Optional reflection and transmission effects.
- Customizable sizes available.
- ISO 12233 capable of achieving 8× 4000 lines without stitching.
- Precise grayscale reproduction with excellent Lambertian characteristics.
The test card is designed for comprehensive calibration of machine vision systems, including initial calibration, system-level performance evaluation, and acceptance testing of industrial vision systems. It is also well suited for the selection and comparative testing of cameras and lenses.
The ISO 12233 image resolution test card is primarily available in two categories: standard type and enhanced type. The standard type is a universal industry product whose structural design revolves around the core requirements of resolution detection, forming a fully functional testing unit system.
The core imaging unit of the test card is made of high-precision radiation-absorbing material, with lead foil or an equivalent lead-equivalent metal foil as the core substrate. The grating thickness is controlled between 0.05 mm and 0.1 mm, and micro-level precision line forming is achieved through laser engraving technology.
The core detection unit is based on line pairs (LP) as the measurement unit. A grid bar and an adjacent equidistant line form a line pair, and multiple sets of line pairs are arranged in an orderly manner according to an equal-ratio or equal-difference sequence. The distance between adjacent line pairs is fixed at 3 mm, and the entire assembly is clamped within a high-transparency organic glass plate to ensure imaging stability during the detection process.
The core wedge diagram testing unit of the test card covers a testing range of 100–2000 LW/PH (line width per image height). Each unit performs its own function to achieve accurate detection of full-screen resolution:
| Testing Unit | Testing Range | Measurement Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| J1 & K1 | 100–2000 LW/PH | Measures horizontal visual resolution at the center of the image |
| J2 & K2 | 100–2000 LW/PH | Measures vertical visual resolution at the center of the image |
| JD & KD | 100–1000 LW/PH | Measures visual resolution in the 45° oblique direction |
| Four-corner cross-shaped unit | 100–1000 LW/PH | Detects horizontal and vertical visual resolution at the four corners of the image and evaluates lens edge imaging performance |
